Kristina was born and raised in Lithuania, where she spent her summers growing fruits and vegetables as a kid. She fondly remembers the taste and smell of those homegrown tomatoes, carrots, and strawberries. After moving to the United States, Kristina joined the University of Michigan’s varsity volleyball team and studied economics. Later, in Arizona, she earned her law degree and opened a practice focusing on real estate, business law, and cannabis law. But neither law nor real estate felt like passion to her.

When the FARM bill legalizing hemp passed, Kristina joined a hemp processing company but yearned for direct involvement in sustainable agriculture. Discovering Humuson, an organic fertilizer made from sapropel, she was inspired to bring this product to American farmers. As the founder and CEO of Sapropel Organics USA, she aims to promote soil health, crop quality, and sustainable agriculture in the US.
